Dos Manzanas is a Spanish music band based in Utrecht formed by Amparo Ballester (voice), Pieter Wattel (guitar) and Massimo Beckers (bass). The band met in HKU Conservatory, where the three of them study, in September of 2018. They started to play the music they would like to listen when they go out to dance. As the singer is from Spain they have the roots that lead the band to create their own version of the most classic bolero and flamenco songs. Carlos Gardel, Buena Vista Social Club, Compay Segundo and Mercedes Sosa are some of the influences of this band that enjoys playing and sharing music.
